Spend a fun night in community welcoming the Irish New Year, Samhain. Celebrated in the darkness of autumn, Samhain is the ancestor of our modern-day Halloween. The workshop consists of an evening with Dr. Randall Ulyate, mythologist and storyteller, as she shares tales of Irish lore inspired by her travels to the Emerald Isle and her research on the ancient festival of Samhain. As you enjoy traditional tales, work on carving your very own turnip—the original Jack o’ Lantern!
