Mythology Today: How Ancient Stories Shape Language, Laws and Life
17 December 2025
Green Cheek Beer Co, Costa Mesa
Featuring: Randall Ulyate, PhD — Mythologist trained at Pacifica Graduate Institute
Randall Ulyate, PhD, teaches Humanities and Mythology in San Diego, cohosts The Mything Link podcast, and founded Fernweh Collective, a nonprofit focused on mythology education. Her work explores how ancient narratives continue to shape modern life—especially in the stories embedded in our language, our legal system, and our cultural assumptions. Drawing on deep archetypal research, she shows how old myths quietly influence today’s rules, priorities, and everyday common sense.
