Summer Camps
Join us this summer to MAKE at the lake! Each week, campers will be in the kitchen learning farm-to-table skills, combining cooking, arts and crafts, science, and nature activities for a full-circle, hands-on learning experience.
At Lakeside Maker Camp, kids will engage in fun cooking, art, and nature activities all structured around a weekly theme. Campers will have a hand in making their daily snacks and lunch, participating in the entire process from start to finish. Our Head Chef Vanessa will expertly guide our campers through preparing, serving, and cleaning up their food each day, emboldening them with the knowledge and skillset to feel comfortable in the kitchen. When they’re not cooking up something in the kitchen, campers will be working with our Creative Director Randall on nature-based arts, crafts, games, and science experiments, all centered on the theme of the week.
On their first day of camp, each camper will receive a chef apron with their name on it. On their last day of each camp week, they will receive a special apron pin commemorating their Lakeside Maker journey. Campers who join us for multiple weeks will get a new pin at the end of each week!
Every Friday, campers will take home a portfolio of their work with a curated selection of their art and science projects from the week. Each week of camp explores a unique theme, so campers will never have the same experience twice.
Our Maker Day Camp takes place at Lindo Lake Park & Community Center in Lakeside, CA.
