After School Programs

Casa de Sprachen

A tri-lingual exploration through language, movement, and art for students grades TK-4.

At Casa de Sprachen, students will take turns working with three teachers a week learning English, German, & Spanish vocabulary and concepts through stories and themed activities. Our teachers expertly weave language acquisition into fun activities including songs, dance, crafts, yoga, music, and games. Each themed session is 6 weeks long, with a curriculum that builds new vocabulary and skills each week. Students will rotate through all three classes each week. Take a journey around the world through story, movement, and song!

This program currently serves TK-4th grade. We are happy to expand if there is interest. Email us at hello@fernwehcollective to inquire.

Each week, young chefs will spend the first hour developing recipes using seasonal ingredients, followed by a hands-on cooking session to test and taste their creations. Over the course of the session, each child will create their own personalized cookbook to take home.

Our bilingual instructor, Chef Vanessa, guides students in building confidence, collaboration, and problem-solving skills while having fun cooking. All ingredients and materials are included.

The fall session includes 6 classes, with a curriculum that grows each week as students build on their skills.
