  • At Casa de Sprachen, students will take turns working with three teachers a week learning English, German, & Spanish vocabulary and concepts through stories and themed activities. Our teachers expertly weave language acquisition into fun activities including songs, dance, crafts, yoga, music, and games.

    Each themed session is 6 weeks long, with a curriculum that builds new vocabulary and skills each week. Students will attend all three classes each week. Take a journey around the world through story, movement, and song! 

    Snack is provided and walking pickup is offered from AEA Elementary in South Park, San Diego.

  • Casa de Sprachen after-school club runs on Thursdays for 6 classes each session. Program runs from 2:30-5:30pm.

  • Our main program is held at the Clubhouse at the Golden Hill Recreation Center in San Diego, CA. We also utilize the playground for free play and snack.

  • Elementary School students grades TK-5th. Walking pickup offered from AEA Elementary.

  • For Spring 2026, we offer three sessions of 6 classes each.

    • Session I: 15 Jan- 19 Feb. 

    • Session II: 26 Feb- 16 April. (No Classes over Spring Break)

    • Session III: 23 April- 28 May (No Class the last week of school)

  • Bei Casa de Sprachen tauchen die Kinder in die Welt der Sprachen ein! Sie wechseln zwischen drei Kursen und erweitern spielerisch durch Geschichten und Aktivitäten ihren englischen, deutschen und spanischen Wortschatz sowie ihr Sprachverständnis.

    Unsere Lehrkräfte verbinden das Sprachenlernen mit viel Spaß und Kreativität: mit Liedern, Tanz, Bastelprojekten, Yoga, Musik und abwechslungsreichen Spiele.

    Jede Session hat ein Thema und dauert 6 Wochen. Woche für Woche bauen die Kinder so ihren Wortschatz und ihre Fähigkeiten weiter aus. Jedes Kind nimmt jede Woche an allen drei Kursen teil.

    Wir bieten einen Snack an. Die Kinder werden von den Lehrkräften zu Fuß von AEA Elementary in South Park, San Diego abgeholt und zum Golden Hill Recreation Center begleitet.

  • Casa de Sprachen findet donnerstags von 14:30 bis 17:30 Uhr statt. Jede Session umfasst 6 Termine.

  • Unser Programm findet im Clubhaus des Golden Hill Recreation Center in San Diego, CA statt. Außerdem nutzen wir den Spielplatz für Freispiel und den Nachmittags-Snack.

  • Grundschüler:innen der Klassen TK–5. Begleitete Abholung zu Fuß von der AEA Elementary wird angeboten.

  • Frühjahr 2026: Wir bieten drei Sessions mit jeweils 6 Terminen an.

  • En Casa de Sprachen, los estudiantes rotarán cada semana trabajando con tres profesoras, aprendiendo vocabulario y conceptos en inglés, alemán y español a través de cuentos y actividades temáticas. Nuestras profesoras integran la adquisición del lenguaje en actividades divertidas que incluyen canciones, baile, manualidades, yoga, música y juegos.

    Cada sesión temática dura 6 semanas, con un plan de estudios que desarrolla nuevo vocabulario y habilidades cada semana. Los estudiantes asistirán a las tres clases cada semana. ¡Emprende un viaje alrededor del mundo a través de cuentos, movimiento y canciones!

    Se proporciona merienda y se ofrece recogida a pie desde AEA Elementary en South Park, San Diego.

  • El club extracurricular Casa de Sprachen se lleva a cabo los jueves durante 6 clases por sesión. El programa es de 2:30 p.m. a 5:30 p.m.

  • Nuestro programa principal se realiza en la Casa Club del Centro Recreativo Golden Hill en San Diego, CA. También utilizamos el área de juegos para tiempo libre y merienda.

  • Estudiantes de la escuela primaria desde TK hasta 5to grado. Se recoge a los estudiantes en la escuela y se va a pie desde AEA Elementary hasta el Centro Recreativo Golden Hill, ubicado a 7 minutos.

  • Para la primavera de 2026, ofrecemos tres sesiones de 6 clases cada una:

Meet Your Instructors

  • Randall Ulyate, PhD, RYT500, TESOL

    Collective Founder & Educator

    Randall is a yoga instructor, educator, and mom of an AEA student. She has a BA in English, a PhD in mythology, a graduate certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), and holds a 500-hour advanced yoga certification. Randall spent over 15 years working as a teacher, director, and trainer with the YMCA of Los Angeles.

  • Lorena Wentling, MPH

    Early Childhood Educator

    Lorena Wentling grew up in Quito, Ecuador. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Education with the Concentration in Teaching and Initial Education Management in 2011 at the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador. Later in 2019, Lorena obtained a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Mental Health at National University.

  • Maria Zschemisch

    Early Childhood Educator

    Maria Zschemisch is a Preschool Teacher and Early Childhood Educator. She completed her degree in Early Childhood Education in 2006 in Germany and is now working on her Bachelor’s in Professional Health and Social Services. She was born and raised in Germany and moved to San Diego in 2012.
